SiVAS-Polsdiagnostiek

In 1967 ontdekte de Franse arts en ooracupuncturist dr. Paul Nogier dat een lichte aanraking van een pijnlijk punt op de oorschelp een voelbare verandering aan de polsslag van de patiënt veroorzaakte. Raakte hij de oorschelp op een andere plaats aan dan gebeurde er niets met de polsslag. Daarna onderzocht hij verschillende manieren om de polsslag te stimuleren: met magneten, kleuren, verschillende substanties etc..
Nogier vond verschillende frequenties waarin onder andere oorzaken van verstoringen kunnen worden opgespoord en behandeld. Deze methode staat nu bekend als de polsdiagnostiek van Nogier met behulp van het Vasculair (m.b.t. de bloedvaten) Autonoom Signaal (VAS). Dit VAS is een reflex op aanraking of andere prikkels. Met het VAS kan de therapeut op verschillende niveau's verstoringen vinden:
